Meet Eugene

A public servant, not a politician.

Government attorney at the city, county, and state levels — in all three branches. Small business owner. New City dad. Eugene has spent a decade making government work for the people.
Now he wants to do it for Clarkstown.

Why I'm running

This is home.

Eugene and his wife Michelle are raising their two young children, Jaxon and Olivia, in New City. He isn't just running for office — he's fighting for the future of the community his family calls home.

His entire career has been guided by the same principles: honesty, integrity, transparency, and equity. Every day, he has worked to stop the waste of taxpayer money and root out impropriety — while making sure government actually delivers.

He wants the same thing you do: for the town your kids grow up in to still be the town you chose.

A decade of service

He's spent a decade doing this job — at the city, county, and state level. Now he's bringing it home.

Massachusetts Superior Court
Law clerk to nine judges, drafting decisions on complex civil litigation — including real property and zoning disputes — and criminal matters.
NYC Dept. of Transportation
Assistant General Counsel on projects including the Brooklyn Bridge, major roadways, and ferries. Single-handedly created the Department’s construction-permit insurance requirements and rewrote the city’s bus-stop permitting rules to protect residents’ quality of life.
NYC Dept. of Consumer Affairs
The Department’s first-ever contracts attorney. Built the policies, procedures, and contract documents that became the foundation of its contracting process — and fought consumer fraud.
County of Rockland
Principal Assistant County Attorney counseling Planning, Highways, Public Transportation, Parks, and Purchasing. Attorney to the Planning Board, Historic Preservation Board, and Parks Commission. Counsel on hundreds of FOIL and Open Meetings Law matters — the transparency laws he’ll bring to Town Hall.
Entrepreneur & Attorney
Business owner since age 15; founded his own law firm in 2021. Real-world experience creating jobs and meeting payroll.

He's protected municipalities from overdevelopment before.

In Rockland County, Eugene was instrumental in enforcing zoning laws and securing hundreds of acres of open space from reckless overdevelopment. When he pledges to halt illegal property uses and modernize the zoning code, it's because he has spent his career enforcing the very laws designed to protect neighborhoods like yours.

He's also an entrepreneur — businesses since age 15, his own law firm since 2021. He knows what it means to meet a payroll, and why Clarkstown's small businesses need less red tape and a government that moves fast.
