The palm card

The official 5×7 card: Eugene and the voting dates on one side; the five fights, his background and how to reach the campaign on the other. Leave one at every door.

Five things to say at the door

Lead with whichever one matters on that street. Each is one sentence you can say from memory, and one fact you can back it up with.

End reckless overdevelopmentTown Hall approved over 500 high-density units in New City alone, with more in the pipeline, on roads and sewers that cannot carry them. Eugene has already drafted a 12-month moratorium so the town can study the impact before approving more.
Stabilize property taxesTown debt is over $139 million, nearly $40,000 a day in debt payments, and the Board has voted to break the 2% cap. Eugene will order a forensic audit, end patronage jobs, and rebid contracts that were never competitively procured.
Enforce the codesIllegal uses persist because the fines are cheaper than the profits. Eugene will review the complaint backlog, order aggressive inspections, and enforce existing violations with maximum penalties and court injunctions, for everyone, including the connected.
Term limits, by referendumThe current supervisor voted for term limits, then sued the town to roll them back. Eugene will introduce the law in his first 30 days and put it to the voters so it cannot be quietly undone.
Fully fund law enforcementPublic safety is budgeted first, not last: staffing, training and equipment, with state and federal grants pursued before any pressure on the tax bill.

The laws, in one line each

When someone asks what Eugene would actually do, these are already written.

Home Improvement Contractor RegistryProtects homeowners from bad contractors: a $50,000 surety bond, deposit caps with escrow, a 3-day right to cancel, a restitution fund financed by contractors — not taxpayers — and a public searchable registry. Read it →
Zoning MoratoriumA 12-month pause on Hamlet Center development approvals while the town completes the supplemental environmental review, cumulative traffic study, impact-fee framework, and housing needs assessment it skipped. Read it →
Data Center & Crypto Mining BanProhibits data centers and crypto mining facilities in every zoning district, before anyone applies: no load threshold to slip under, no phasing or lot-splitting around it, and ordinary server rooms expressly exempt. Read it →
Renter Safety & Landlord Accountability ActNames the real owners behind every rental LLC, puts one person on the hook, makes registration a condition of collecting rent, fines illegal landlords up to double their gain, and publishes a searchable registry of every rental in town. Read it →

Common questions

Can I get printed palm cards?

Yes. Printed palm cards are available for delivery or pickup on request. Use the contact form and say how many you need and whether you want them dropped off or would rather pick them up, and a volunteer will arrange it.

Do I need to be trained before I knock on doors?

No. Read the five talking points on this page, take a palm card, and go with a partner the first time. The campaign runs short canvass launches before each shift; watch the events page for the next one.

What do I do with a question I cannot answer?

Say so, take their name and email, and send it to hello@voteforbondar.com. Eugene answers every one personally. Never guess on a policy detail; the proposed laws page has the exact text if you want to check.

Can I print the palm card myself?

The PDF is the print-ready 5×7 card, front and back. Any print shop can run it on cardstock from the file. For a home printer, print both pages on heavy paper and trim to 5 by 7 inches; or ask the campaign for a stack, which is usually faster.
