What Eugene says in this clip

In this August 2025 clip, Eugene argues that Clarkstown is near a point of no return on overdevelopment and spending: once ground breaks on the planned projects, there will be no legal way to stop them. Acting now, he says, the Town can still impose a moratorium, revise the zoning code, find new revenue to pay down outstanding bond obligations without reckless borrowing, and enforce the quality-of-life rules residents have been complaining about.

He asks voters to look past party affiliation, describing a platform meant to serve every resident and to get taxpayers the best value for their tax dollars: practical, not political.
